Trellis Robotics awarded $305,000 NSF STTR grant
The National Science Foundation has awarded Trellis Robotics a Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant to develop a soft, tip-growing robot for inspecting small-diameter industrial piping. The project builds on soft-robotics research from Stanford and UC Santa Barbara, and is led by co-founders Elvy Yao and William Heap with co-PI Allison Okamura of Stanford's CHARM Lab.
